Interstellar is a decent app and supports both Lemmy and Piefed. AFAIR, Voyager has plan to support Piefed (might remember wrong).

I remembered wrong that immich has comment feature.

My thoughts of train was

• you can selfhost it and make it private
• it has comment features (in feed and timeline)
• has mobile app and web interface
